Aurora Bloom

Positive affirmations, in French and English · back to the list of applications

Aurora Bloom shows one affirmation per screen, which you swipe through. Eight categories, favourites, an optional daily reminder, and a button that turns any affirmation into a square image you can share.

Privacy Policy

Last updated on 4 November 2026

In one sentence: Aurora Bloom has no account, asks for no personal information, and your affirmations, favourites and settings stay on your device. What leaves it, and only this: an anonymous usage measurement you can refuse, the check on your subscription and, on the web version, the measurement of our ads by Meta and reminders by notification, each only if you accept it.

Who publishes this application

Aurora Bloom is published by NathieDev, a sole trader registered in France. For any question about your data, write to contact@ai-creativ.fr.

Data we do not collect

Aurora Bloom does not gather, transmit or store on any server:

  • your name, email address or phone number, unless you give them to us yourself: a first name with your review, your address for the Sunday letter or for payment on the web version (see below)
  • your location
  • your contacts, photos, files or microphone
  • your phone's advertising identifier
  • the affirmations you scroll through (only those you keep are counted, see usage measurement)

The application contains no advertising and works without an internet connection. Only two measurement tools, both described below: an anonymous usage measurement that you can refuse and, on the web version only and with your consent, the Meta pixel.

What is stored on your device

So that the app is useful to you, a few things are kept locally, in the app's private storage on your device:

  • the affirmations you marked as favourites
  • the language you chose and the category being shown
  • the time of your daily reminder, if you turn one on
  • the list of affirmations already shown, to avoid repeats
  • the random number used by the usage measurement, and your choice if you refuse it

All of this stays on your device, with one exception: on the web version, if you accept reminders by notification, the dates and texts of the planned reminders are entrusted to our server, as explained in “Reminders and notifications”. It disappears entirely if you uninstall the app, if you clear its data from your device settings or, on the web version, if you clear the site's data in your browser. The web version also keeps, in the same place, your choice about the measurement of our ads (accepted or declined), for six months. Only the usage measurement, described just below, anonymously counts the affirmations you keep.

Anonymous usage measurement

To find out which screens cause problems and improve what gets in the way, the app sends technical events: the name of the screen displayed, the text of the button tapped, the list of buttons on that screen, the name of the theme opened, and when you keep or remove an affirmation, which one (its number in our catalogue, for example “amour_001”), to find out which ones touch people most, and technical incidents. These events are hosted in Europe, in Frankfurt, by the PostHog service.

What is never sent: the affirmations you scroll past without keeping them, the time of your reminder, your name, your email address, your location. This data stays on your device.

A randomly drawn number links the steps of a single visit. It does not reveal who you are, and it disappears if you clear the app's data. This measurement uses no cookie and never records your screen. It runs on the web version and in the Android app, measured separately.

You can refuse this measurement in Settings, under “Usage measurement”. Nothing is sent any more.

Reminders and notifications

Aurora Bloom can send you two reminders, both optional:

  • the daily affirmation reminder, switched off by default;
  • if you start a free trial of the subscription, a reminder two days before the trial ends.

In the Android app, these reminders are local notifications: they are scheduled and triggered by your phone itself, without going through any server. Permission to show notifications is only requested when it is needed. You can turn reminders off at any time, in the app or in your device settings.

On the web version, since 30 October 2026, the same reminders can arrive as a notification from your browser, only if you accept it. The permission window only appears after an action on your part. If you accept:

  • your browser gives us an anonymous subscription address, provided by its notification service: Google for Chrome, Apple for Safari, Mozilla for Firefox, Microsoft for Edge;
  • our server, the same one as our websites, at our host Hostinger, keeps this address with the dated list of planned reminders and their texts, so as to send them to you at the right time;
  • it receives neither your name, nor your email address, nor any account, nor the rest of your data in the app;
  • the content of each notification is end-to-end encrypted up to your browser: the notification service cannot read it;
  • each reminder is deleted from our server as soon as it is sent. The app sends its list again each time it is opened, for the next three weeks only: a reminder planned further ahead, such as a distant trial end, is only passed on at a later opening;
  • the subscription address is deleted when no reminder is left, when you turn reminders off in the app, or when your browser reports that the subscription no longer exists. You can also withdraw permission in your browser settings.

On iPhone, these notifications only work if you have added the web app to your home screen. Reminders are used for nothing else than reminding you of what you chose: no advertising, no tracking.

Sharing an affirmation as an image

When you share an affirmation, the image is drawn on your phone and handed to the Android share menu. You choose the destination. No copy is sent to the publisher.

Measuring our ads (web version, with your consent)

On the web version of Aurora Bloom, in a browser, a banner asks for your consent. If you click “Accept”, the app loads the Meta pixel (Meta is the company that runs Facebook and Instagram). It helps us know whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring people to Aurora Bloom, and show those ads to people likely to be interested. If you decline, or if you do not answer, nothing is loaded and nothing is sent. The Android app has no pixel.

What is then sent to Meta:

  • the address of the page shown;
  • a few specific actions: opening the Premium offer, tapping the subscribe button, starting a trial or subscribing, with the amount;
  • your IP address and technical information about your browser and your device;
  • an identifier stored by Meta in a cookie (_fbp), kept for about three months.

If a Facebook or Instagram account is signed in on this browser, Meta may link this information to that account.

What is never sent: the affirmations you read or keep as favourites, your categories, the time of your reminder. Meta's automatic reading of buttons and forms is turned off, and no email address or phone number is passed on to it.

Who is responsible: for the collection and sending of this information, NathieDev and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited are joint controllers (Article 26 of the GDPR). The essentials of their agreement can be read at facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. For what Meta does with it afterwards, Meta alone is responsible: see its privacy policy. Meta may process this information in the United States; it states that it relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework to do so.

Legal basis and duration: your consent. Your choice is kept for six months on this device, after which you are asked again.

Changing your mind: at any time, in Settings, under “Cookies and ads”, “Manage” button. If you withdraw your consent, nothing more is sent from that moment on. You can also clear your browser's cookies. You can exercise your rights with us, at contact@ai-creativ.fr, or directly with Meta.

Your review (if you choose to give one)

In the app (Settings, "Your review"), you can send a rating from 1 to 5 and, if you wish, a text and a first name, along with the language, the type of device, the app version and the number of days of use. The review is stored in a private spreadsheet and flagged to us on our internal messaging. Your IP address is never stored with the review: it is only used, for about an hour, to limit repeated submissions. A review is never shown publicly without your consent and our approval. To have it removed: contact@ai-creativ.fr.

The Sunday letter

If you sign up to the letter on the blog, we collect your email address, and only that, to send you the letter once a week. Signing up is confirmed by one click in a first email: without that click, your address is not added. The letters are sent through Brevo, a French company, which keeps the list on our behalf and measures opens and clicks. Your address is never sold or lent. You can unsubscribe in one click at the bottom of every letter.

Aurora Bloom Premium

The subscription is optional. When active, it is handled entirely by Google Play, which processes payment and billing. NathieDev never sees, receives or stores any payment details.

Subscription management relies on the RevenueCat service, which receives an anonymous purchase identifier, unrelated to your identity. A subscription can be cancelled at any time from the Subscriptions section of your Google Play account.

On the web version, the subscription is paid by card, through RevenueCat and Stripe. An email address is asked for at payment: it is used to send you the confirmation, your receipts, the reminder before each renewal and the link to manage your subscription. NathieDev never sees your card details. If you cancel, we may also email you to ask why (optional) and, twice, to offer you a discount to come back; each offer email has a link to stop receiving them. The web subscription is sold in France, under our terms of sale (in French).

Children

Aurora Bloom is intended for an adult audience and is not directed at children under thirteen.

Your rights

European data protection law gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection over your personal data. Apart from your review, your address for the letter and the web payment described above, Aurora Bloom holds no data about you, so these rights are exercised directly on your device: clearing the application's data from your phone settings removes everything that was stored. For the measurement of our ads on the web version, you can also contact Meta. If you accepted reminders on the web version, turning them off in the app deletes your subscription address from our server.

For any question, write to contact@ai-creativ.fr. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Changes to this policy

If the way the application works changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top of this section changed accordingly.
